Surfing, the first of the board sports, has spawned and influenced skateboarding, snowboarding, wakeboarding, wakeskating and any number of other board sports over the last 40 years. This trick, called a rodeo flip, comes from the world of snowboarding and was first landed in 1994 by York Shackleton at Snow Summit in California. Nobody had any idea that such a trick would or could manifest itself in the world of surfing.
